Lyric Water Color 1
Water Color 1
The Lyric Water Color 1 filter is a stylizing effect that produces a water-color-like version of the source video. It provides linework density & darkness controls and line "bleed" simulating the bleeding of lines into wet surrounding colors. The colors can also be heavily blurred, producing a wash-like effect and the default settings move the colors towards pastel to simulate translucent colors on white paper.
The Lyric Water Color 1 filter includes a set of effect controls that are common across all Lyric effect filters. For a detailed description of these controls, please see the Common Effect Controls documentation.
Additionally, all Lyric Effect filters can be applied through mattes or masks to constrain the filter effect to particular areas of the image. For background information on mattes and masks, please refer to the Lyric Matte Primer.
The Linework section contains sliders for controlling the linework in the effect. This has two components: a sharp edge line and a diffuse bleeding, both of which can be separately controlled. Presence sets the intensity of the edge line, which can be darkened or lightened with the Darkness slider. Line Bleed sets the amount of edge bleed into the surrounding color, and the bleed characteristics can be adjusted with the three Bleed sliders.
The Color section contains sliders to adjust color in the effect. Force Color is used if the line bleed is very low or not present to raise the color level in the effect. The Saturation slider provides conventional control over the color intensity and Wash applies a blur to the chroma channels, producing the effect of broad color washes.
The Effect Controls section is a set of common controls that are documented on the Common Effect Controls page. They can be used to achieve masked and other specialized filter effects.
