Lyric Low Saturation Matte

The Lyric Low Saturation Matte produces a matte that selects the low-saturation areas in the scene. You can can control the saturation threshold and rolloff.

This matte is most commonlyused as a filter mask, allowing color-correction to be applied just to the low-saturation areas of a scene, for example to boost the saturation without blowing out the high-saturation areas.

The Lyric Low Saturation Matte filter includes a set of matte and output controls that are common across all Lyric matte filters. For a detailed description of these controls, please see the Matte Common Controls documentation.

The Saturation Threshold allows the matte cut-off point to be adjusted to encompass more-or-less saturation regions. Higher values selects a greater range of saturation. Saturation Rolloff controls the smoothness of the threshold.
